Meet Dr. Ifeoma Okorafor, DC, MPH
Dr. Okorafor was raised mostly in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Her Nigerian parents stressed the importance of hard work to achieve wanted goals in life. The lessons from her parents lead her to play Division I Women’s Varsity Tennis at Purdue University and a fulfilling career as a healthcare practitioner.
As an undergraduate, she majored in General Health Sciences graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree and Minor in Psychology from Purdue University. She then went on to obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in 1998.
Dr. Okorafor also received her Master in Public Health degree (MPH), with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention, while practicing chiropractic, from Chicago State University, May 2014.
